Woman Allegedly Killed Daughters Because Organs Were 'Worth A Lot Of Money'

A Las Vegas woman appeared in court after being arrested for the deaths of two daughters.

According to Las Vegas Review-Journal, defendant Amanda Sharp-Jefferson, 26, reportedly told the father of the babies, Jaykwon Singleton, that the girls’ organs would be “worth a lot of money.”

As the newspaper reported, Singleton arrived home on Friday (November 6) to find his two daughters dead and “stacked on top of each other in a baby swing.” Singleton said when he walked into the home the girls were unresponsive and Sharp-Jefferson “kept shushing them” before making the bizarre statement about the value of their body parts.

A cause of death remains unclear, however, Singleton told police he believed the mother “drowned them or something,” according to reports by Fox 5 of Las Vegas.

Singleton and Sharp-Jefferson, who were said to have been a couple since 2018, evidently had no issues with each other until the latter began “talking about the altar-spirit world.”

However, Sharp-Jefferson told police she believed she had been set up for the crime, claiming that she didn’t have children and did not know Singleton.

The 26-year-old was arrested on two counts of open murder and is still being held without bail until her next court hearing.
