Man In Underwear Leads Philadelphia Cops On Wild Chase In Stolen Ambulance

A domestic disturbance call in Philadelphia quickly escalated when a man stole an ambulance and led police on a wild chase. When police and paramedics arrived on the scene, they found a man in his underwear who was being combative. As officers tried to deescalate the situation, the man jumped into an ambulance and sped away.

Officers gave chase, but the suspect managed to evade them and led them on chase throughout the city. At one point during the chase, he pulled into a parking lot and stopped the ambulance. He opened the door and appeared to be surrendering, but as officers approached, he closed it and drove away.

After over an hour, officers finally managed to bring the ambulance to a stop and took the man into custody. Officials said he was shot twice in the leg and once in the abdomen during the chase.

He was taken into custody and treated for his injuries. Officials said a police officer was injured during the chase and taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Authorities did not identify the suspect or say what charges he is facing.
