'Worst Case Scenario' for Trick-or-Treating with Severe Storms on the Way

From our news partners, WFMY NEWS 2:

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Severe thunderstorms and trick or treating don't mix. A strong cold front will bring some dangerous thunderstorms to the Piedmont for Halloween. Here's what we're tracking.

There's a high threat for severe weather in our area. The Triad is under a level 3 threat (out of 5), which is rare for our area and means damaging winds are likely.

This is all happening with a strong cold front moving across the entire Southeast Thursday. We need to be alert between 5pm and 10pm. That's when thunderstorms are most likely.
