EMERGENCY SHELTERS OPENING
Red Cross Emergency Shelters
Shelter: Glenwood Recreation Center
Opening: Thursday, September 13 at noon for anyone who needs a safe place to stay locally. Also, for open for April Tornado victims. The shelter will be open 24 hours a day until further notice.
Located: 2010 Coliseum Boulevard in Greensboro
Items to bring: Medications, toiletries, a pillow and blanket, a sleeping bag and a towel.
Shelter: Interactive Resource Center White Flag Emergency Warming Station
Opening: Thursday, September 13 at 4:00 p.m.
Located: 407 East Washington Street in Greensboro
