Missy Elliott came through in a big way to help a North Carolina bride struggling with overwhelming preparations for her wedding.
The legendary emcee paid for Ireanna Bradshaw's dream wedding dress after seeing a series of tweets in which Bradshaw shared her overwhelming experience leading up to her big day.
On November 17, Bradshaw tweeted that she was "excited but overwhelmed," noting that she had been saving money for her dream dress, but didn't think it was possible to purchase as she also had to save money for an upcoming move.
She also said her relationship coincided with her progress with self-esteem, claiming she didn't think she would "find a love like this and never thought someone would want to marry me."
Elliott discovered the series of tweets and wished Bradshaw an "early congratulations, adding, "May God Bless you both with an Unbreakable Union and full of Love & Happiness."
Bradshaw said she was "speechless" after receiving the well-wishes from Elliott and extended an invitation for the rapper to attend her wedding. Elliott then responded with news that she had sent her money through Cash App to purchase the address.
"Your Dress is paid for now," Elliott tweeted. I don't know you but i saw you said the dress of your dreams & figured I would help when I saw you post ya cash app. May Blessings pour on your Beautiful Wedding Day with your Future husband."
Bradshaw's initial post included a photo of the Galina Signature wedding dress being listed at $1,299.00.
