Eleven-month-old Charlie Gard continues to fight for his life while being held captive in his UK hospital. His parents have not stopped fighting to get him experimental treatment at other hospitals that have offered to take him in, but the UK children’s hospital refuses to allow him to leave.
The House Appropriations Committee granted Gard and his family permanent U.S. citizenship so he can get the medical attention he needs in America.
Wednesday on radio, Glenn admitted that if he were in a similar position he would happily relinquish his citizenship.
“I would relinquish my citizenship so fast from a country that was trying to take my child away and telling me that they have power over all of the decisions, life and death, of my child.”
